4. Remove fasteners securing air bag to I/P support beam.
5. Push air bag rearward and rotate round end downward.
6. Remove air bag from vehicle through glove compartment opening.
INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT: The harness exits the air bag on the right side of vehicle.
1. Insert air bag through I/P opening with vinyl edge UP and harness on right side of vehicle.
IMPORTANT: The harness connected to the air bag must be routed between the round guide pin and the air bag mounting ear.
2. Insert air bag guide pins in I/P brace slots and rotate round edge upward to align bolt holes.
3. Install fasteners securing air bag to I/P support beam.
Torque: 10 Nm (89 in-lbs)
4. Connect yellow two-way connector to the vehicle wiring harness.
5. Install glove compartment.
6. Install IGN 1 fuse in underhood fuse block.
7. Turn ignition On and verify AIR BAG telltale operates properly.
