Windshield Washer Pump: Service and Repair
Windshield Washer Solvent Pump

REMOVAL

CAUTION:  TO HELP AVOID PERSONAL INJURY WHEN A VEHICLE IS ON A HOIST, PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SUPPORT FOR
VEHICLE AT THE OPPOSITE END FROM WHICH COMPONENTS ARE BEING REMOVED. THIS WILL REDUCE THE
POSSIBILITY OF VEHICLE FALLING OFF HOIST.

1. Raise vehicle half-way.
2. From driver's side of vehicle, remove front push pin from wheelhouse liner.
3. Carefully pry wheelhouse out of the way to access washer solvent pump.

4. Disconnect wiring harness from pump.
5. Place holding container under pump to catch solvent from container.
6. Disconnect hose from pump.
7. Remove pump by pulling firmly.

INSTALLATION

1. Install pump by pushing firmly into opening in container.
2. Connect hose to pump.
3. Connect wiring harness to pump.
