1. Using the lead wire, pull the new hood latch cable through the dash panel and into the engine compartment.
2. Seat the grommet fully into the dash panel.
3. Install the hood release handle. Refer to Hood Latch Release Handle Replacement  (See: Hood Latch/Service and Repair) .

4. Install the hood latch cable (2) to the hood latch (1).
