Carpet Replacement

Carpet Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket  (See: Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seat Replacement -

Front Bucket) in Seats.

2. Remove the rear seats. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear  (See: Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seat Replacement - Rear) in

Seats.

3. Remove the anchor plate bezels. Refer to Carpet Trim Plate Replacement - Rear Floor  (See: ) .
4. Remove the left and the right front door sill plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Door)  (See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair)Door Sill

Plate Replacement (Sliding Door)  (See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair) .

5. Remove the sliding door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Door)  (See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair)Door Sill Plate Replacement

(Sliding Door)  (See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair) .

6. Remove the rear liftgate sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Liftgate  (See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair) .
7. Remove the left trim panel and remove the right trim panel from the side center pillar. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Body Lock Pillar Upper 

(See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement) .

8. Remove the lower instrument panel (I/P) cowl panels. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Cowl Side  (See: Trim Panel/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement) .

9. Remove the left and the right quarter trim. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Right)  (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Removal

and Replacement)Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Left)  (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement) .

10. Remove the carpet (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

Caution:  In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as
the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.

1. Install the carpet (2) to the vehicle.
2. Install the left and the right quarter trim. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Right)  (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Removal

and Replacement)Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Left)  (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement) .

3. Install the lower I/P cowl panels. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Cowl Side  (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement)

4. Install the left trim panel and install the right trim panel to the side center pillar. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Body Lock Pillar Upper  (See:

Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement) .
