6. Install the brake cable (1) in the connector (2).

7. Install the adjusting nut.
8. Adjust the park brakes. 
9. Install the left rear tire and wheel.

Removal Procedure 

1. Remove the left-side instrument panel insulator.
2. Remove the left-side carpet retainer.
3. Fold back the carpet for access.
4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

5. Loosen the park brake cable equalizer nut in order to remove the park brake cable from the park brake cable connector.
