Molding Replacement - Rear Quarter

Tools Required

J 25070 Heat Gun

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the screws from the rear quarter molding.

2. Use J 25070  152 mm (6 in) from the surface in order to heat the lower quarter molding. Use a circular motion for 30 seconds when applying heat.

Notice:  Refer to Exterior Trim Emblem Removal Notice  in Cautions and Notices.

3. Use a flat-bladed tool in order to remove the quarter molding from the surface.
4. Pull the lower quarter molding out, in order to release the retainers.
5. Pull the lower quarter molding out, in order to release from the lower locating pins.
6. Pull the quarter molding up, in order to release from the upper support.
7. Remove the quarter molding from the quarter panel.

8. Pull out the center pins of the support retainers.
