Shift Interlock Solenoid: Service and Repair
BTSI Solenoid Location
REMOVAL
1. Remove console.
2. Disconnect connector from BTSI solenoid.
3. Remove nut from BTSI solenoid and remove solenoid from shifter assembly.
INSTALLATION
1. Install solenoid to shifter assembly. Install nut to solenoid. Connect linkage to park lock lever, and tighten nut.
2. Connect BTSI connector.
3. Verify operation. Refer to "System Performance Test". See: Transmission Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General

4. Install console.
