Vertical Swing Wires Protrude Through Front Seat Back Cover and Service Information on Design Changes on Replacement Front Seat Back Covers
(Remove Vertical Swing Wires and Replace Seat Back Cover)
MODELS AFFECTED:
1996-1997 Saturn SC2 coupes built before and including VIN VZ205O41
CONDITION:
Customers may comment on damage in the middle section(s) of the driver's or passenger's front seat back cover and/or when replacing a front seat back
cover the listing pockets are missing.
CAUSE:
The front seat back cover may be damaged by improper retention of the hog rings at the bottom of the vertical swing wires. This may allow the vertical
swing wires to drop down and protrude through the front seat back cover.
Also, vehicles built after the above breakpoint and current service replacement covers do not contain listing pockets (refer to illustration)
