6. Remove and discard the engine front cover gasket.
7. Remove the crankshat front cover oil seal with an appropriate tool.
8. Remove and discard the friction washer.
Installation Procedure
1. Install a NEW crankshaft front oil seal. Refer to Crankshaft Front Oil Seal Installation (See: Service and Repair/Overhaul) .
2. Install a NEW friction washer.
3. Position and install a NEW engine front cover gasket to the dowel pins.
