REMOVAL

1. Disable the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in Service Precautions.
2. Remove instrument panel. Refer to Air Flow Control Box - A/C / Service and Repair / HVAC Module for procedure.
3. Remove screws and center air outlet duct.

INSTALLATION

1. Install center air outlet duct and screws.

Torque: 10 N.m (89 in-lbs)

IMPORTANT: Make sure that right plastic mounting tab is between knee beam and mounting bracket.

2. Install instrument panel. Refer to Air Flow Control Box - A/C / Service and Repair / HVAC Module for procedure.
3. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in Service Precautions.
