1.
Disconnect coolant temperature sensor connector, located on the upper front left side of engine, Fig. 2.
2.
Using cluster tester tool No. SA9205Z or equivalent, and a digital multimeter (set to OHMS scale), connect one lead to coolant temperature sensor
connector and the other lead to engine ground.
3.
Turn ignition to Run position (do not start engine).
4.
Set input resistances as shown in Fig. 3.
5.
If temperature gauge is not accurate, replace cluster.
