NOTE: 

1992-1994 instrument panel accessory center trim plate assembly shown in illustration.

On 1993-1994 vehicles, remove and disconnect traction control and/or fog lamp connector, if so equipped.

3.

Using a drop-type garage light or a flashlight, look through the center air duct at heater and A/C mode valve housing assembly.

4.

Look for foam backing on mode valve. If mode lever on the heater control assembly can be moved, move it back and forth while watching mode
valve to see if foam is visible.
