SUBJECT:
Door or Center Pillar Applique' Appears Misaligned with Door Frame (Adjust Center Pillar Outer Upper Applique')
MODELS AFFECTED:
1991-1995 Saturn Sedans and 1993-1995 Saturn Wagons
CONDITION:
Center pillar outer upper applique' is misaligned, causing the front or rear doors to appear misaligned.
CAUSE:
Center pillar outer upper applique' may be misaligned during production.
CORRECTION:
Remove center pillar outer upper appliqu6, align applique' to vehicle and install according to the following procedure.
PROCEDURE
1.
On 1991, and early 1992 vehicles:
a.
Remove plastic fasteners from bottom of center pillar upper outer applique.
b.
Pull center pillar upper outer applique' outward in area of upper fastener and remove from vehicle.
IMPORTANT:
If the insulator does not come off with the center pillar upper outer applique', carefully remove the insulator from the vehicle.
