Assembly Line Diagnostic Link (ALDL) Connector: Description and Operation
Diagnostic Request

PCM Wiring

The diagnostic request input is received from the assembly line diagnostic link (ALDL) connector. When this line is grounded, the PCM will output fault
codes, if any exist. If there are no codes set, the PCM will flash a code 12.
