Cruise Control Inoperative and Cruise Control Fuse is Open (Diagnose and Repair Cruise Control Switch Assembly Wiring)
MODELS AFFECTED:
All 1991 and 1992 Saturns equipped with cruise control, without supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system.
CONDITION:
Some owners of 1991-92 Saturns may comment the cruise control is inoperative and 5 amp "CRUISE" fuse is open. This condition may occur
intermittently after the fuse has been replaced.
CAUSE:
Cruise control switch assembly wiring is chafed at steering wheel hub.
CORRECTIVE ACTION:
Visually inspect the cruise control switch assembly wiring according to the following procedures.
