SL L4-1.9L SOHC VIN 9 (1991)
1. Remove screws and mirror trim panel. If equipped with manual remote mirror, allow panel to hang from adjustment cable.
2. Remove power door lock switch (if equipped) by prying out at top of switch with a small, straight screwdriver with the blade covered to protect
surfaces.
Disconnect wire harness connector.
3. Remove screws, slide door handle assembly forward and pull outward. Using a long thin screwdriver, disengage lock and latch rods from retainers.
Remove handle assembly.
4. Disengage manual window regulator handle clip with a standard handle tool, or by working a cloth back and forth between the handle and the
bearing plate.
Remove handle and plate.
5. Remove screws and door pull cup.
