Front Door Panel: Service and Repair

Cloth Insert

NOTICE:  Beginning with mid year 1994, the cloth trim insert is not serviced separately.

REMOVAL

1. Remove door trim panel from door.
2. Remove fasteners that attach tabs at the back of the trim panel.
3. Straighten tabs, and remove cloth insert from door trim panel.

INSTALLATION

1. Install cloth insert to panel and bend tabs to retain.
2. Install door trim panel.

Door Trim Panel Replacement

REMOVAL

1. Remove screws and mirror trim panel. If equipped with manual remote mirror, allow panel to hang from adjustment cable.
2. Remove power door lock switch (if equipped) by prying out at top of switch with a small, straight screwdriver with the blade covered to protect

surfaces. 
Disconnect wire harness connector.
