LOCATION: 

Connects I/P junction block connector cavity A5 to I/P ground splice pack cavity A.

TYPE: 

Black 22 gage wire

FUNCTION: 

This is the ground circuit for the chime module.

REPAIRS:

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.

If this component is good go to the next item indicated on the Symptom Chart.

Circuit 159B/155P

FUNCTION: 
This is the ground circuit for the chime module through the driver's doorjamb switch. The module is grounded when the door is open.

CIRCUIT 159B

Location: 

Connects I/P junction block connector cavity D3 to driver's door jamb switch connector cavity A.

Type: 

Tan 22 gage wire

Repairs:

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.

CIRCUIT 155P

Location: 

Connects driver's door jamb switch connector cavity B to left body ground splice pack cavity G.

Type: 

Black 22 gage wire

Repairs:

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.

If this component is good go to the next item indicated on the Symptom Chart.

Circuit 1238

FUNCTION:

This is the ground wire for the chime Module through the passive restraint control module (PRCM).

LOCATION:

Connects I/P junction block connector cavity D2 to passive restraint control module (PRCM) connector cavity B.
