Power Steering Bleeding: Service and Repair
1.
With engine off, front wheels raised and turned completely left, check reservoir fluid level. Add fluid if necessary.
2.
Bleed system by turning wheels from side to side several times, without contacting stops.
3.
Start engine and check fluid level. Add fluid if necessary.
4.
Return steering wheel to straight ahead position, lower front wheels and allow engine to idle for two to three minutes.
5.
Road test vehicle to ensure steering functions normally and is free from noise.
