Cross-Member: Service and Repair
Assembly
1. Install both control arms onto tension strut.
IMPORTANT: Do not install fastener nuts at this time.
2. Position each control arm into the cradle.
IMPORTANT: Do not install fasteners until both control arms are correctly positioned.
NOTICE: Tension strut to cradle bushings must be positioned on strut and in attachment brackets with their installation slits Acing toward the
front of the vehicle.
3. Install tension strut-to-cradle bushings onto tension strut.
IMPORTANT: Tension strut can be installed upside down. All tension struts are marked with paint on the right hand side. Make sure this paint
