2. Install sunroof switch/console assembly with two screws.
3. Install headliner. Refer to "Headliner Installation" procedure.
SUNROOF ACTUATOR (MOTOR) TO MODULE TIMING
NOTICE: The sunroof motor has an internal microswitch which opens the motor circuit (turns motor off) when the glass reaches the full vent
position. If the motor is operated separate from the sunroof module, or the position of the sunroof is changed without the motor installed, the
timing of the sunroof motor to sunroof module will be out of phase. Putting the motor back into the module while out of phase will result in loss of
the vent positioning feature. If the motor and module become out of phase, or the vent positioning feature is not functioning, use the following
procedure to re-time the motor.
1. With sunroof in fully closed position, disengage motor from drive cable.
2. Run motor, using switch in its vent position, until the motor stops. This is the fully vented position.
3. Using a large flat blade screwdriver, turn the motor gear drive slot 1 1/2 turns clockwise. This is the fully closed position.
4. Make sure that the sunroof glass is in the fully closed position, and install the motor. Refer to "Sunroof Actuator (Motor) Installation" procedure.
NOTICE: Do not pull the motor in with the attaching screws as this may result in damage to the drive cables.
