Information on Servicing Saturn S-Series Lock Cylinder Components
Models:
1997-2002 Saturn S-Series
The purpose of this bulletin is to inform Saturn Retailers of a change to service parts availability for Saturn S-Series lock cylinder components. The
current lock cylinder kits for the side doors, ignition cylinder, and rear compartment lid or liftgate will be modified to now include additional component
parts to build up a complete ignition, door or rear compartment lock cylinder assembly.
The new lock cylinder kits listed in the Parts Information table below can be used to replace or repair lock cylinder assemblies on S-Series for the
1997-2002 model years.
Once inventory of 1997-2002 individual lock cylinder component parts from pages 9-206 through 9-210 and 9-216 through 9-218 in the Saturn S-Series
Parts and Illustration Catalog are depleted, the new lock cylinder kits (listed below) can be used on all 1997-2002 S-Series vehicles.
