Idler Pulley: Service and Repair

1. Remove accessory drive belt.
2. Remove tensioner or idler pulley fastener and remove pulley.
3. Coat pulley attachment bolt threads with Saturn P/N 21485277 (Loctite 242 or equivalent). Replace pulley and bearing as an assembly. Tighten

tensioner pulley bolt to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.). Tighten idler pulley bolt to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
