Parking Brake Warning Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disable the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) System (refer to Airbags and Seat Belts).
2. Remove console (refer to Body and Frame).
3. Disconnect indicator switch electrical connector.

4. Remove switch. Use screwdriver to pry up switch.

INSTALLATION

1. Pull park brake lever up; push switch tabs into slot until secure.
2. Connect park brake indicator switch electrical connector.
3. Install console. 
4. Enable the SIR System.
