Wheel Fastener: Service and Repair
Front Suspension
1. Using SA91107NE (or equivalent), remove wheel stud.
IMPORTANT: It may be necessary to remove a small amount of material from the knuckle to provide clearance to remove stud. With stud loose
in hub, rotate hub to position where least amount of interference between stud and knuckle exists. Mark location on knuckle. Remove only enough
material to allow the stud to pass the knuckle.
2. Start new wheel stud into hub.
3. Place four washers over stud.
4. Install wheel mounting nut with flat side toward washer
5. Using an open end wrench, tighten nut until stud is seated.
