Shifter M/T: Service and Repair
Control Lever Boot Assembly

REMOVAL

1. Disable SIR system. (Refer to "Disabling the SIR System.")
2. Remove console. Refer to "Console Removal."
3. Unclip the boot assembly from the plastic retainer in the rear of the shifter assembly by pulling rearward and upward on the boot.

4. Unclip the boot assembly from the two plastic retainers in the front of the shifter assembly and remove the boot.

INSTALLATION

1. Place the boot on the shifter assembly and clip the two plastic retainers in the front of the shifter assembly.
2. Clip the boot assembly onto the plastic retainer in the rear of the shifter assembly.
3. Install console. Refer to "Console Installation."
4. Enable SIR system. (Refer to "Enabling the SIR System".)
