VUE L4-2.2L VIN D (2002)
6. Remove engine oil drain plug and drain oil into an approved container.
7. Inspect engine oil drain plug. Replace drain plug if sealing surface is worn or damaged.
8. Remove engine oil drain plug and drain oil into approved container.
Torque:
Oil Pan Drain Plug - L61: 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
9. lower vehicle.
NOTICE: The oil filter must snap into the oil filter cap. If a snap does not occur, verify correct oil filter element is being installed or engine damage
may occur.
10. Snap a new oil filter element into oil filter cap.
11. Install oil filter cap with element into casting in block and tighten.
Torque:
Oil Filter Cap - L61: 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
12. Remove engine oil fill cap.
13. Fill engine with 4.73 L (5 qts.) of new SW-30 engine oil.
Engine Oil - L61: 4.7 L (5 qt.)
14. Install engine oil filler cap.
15. Start engine and check for leaks.
