9. Remove the park brake lever mounting nuts.
10. Remove the park brake lever assembly from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the park brake lever assembly to the vehicle.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the park brake lever assembly mounting nuts.

Tighten the nuts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
3. Secure the rear cable fittings to the park brake lever bracket. Attempt to pull the park brake cables free of the lever bracket, to ensure that the
retaining tabs on the fittings are properly secured.
4. Install the cable ends to the cable equalizer.
