Window Weatherstrip Run Channel Assembly Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure

1. Lower the front door window.
2. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Early Production)  (See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood

and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Panel Replacement/Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Early
Production))Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Late Production)  (See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front

3. Starting at one end, carefully pull the window weatherstrip run channel assembly from the door frame.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the window weatherstrip run channel assembly.

Start at the lower rear corner of the window opening.

*

Press the weatherstrip run channel onto the door flange.

*

Check to make sure the channel is fully secured into the upper corners of the door frame.

2. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Early Production)  (See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and
