3. Move carpet back into position and install the front carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement - Front  (See: Interior Moulding /

Trim/Carpet/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Carpet Retainer Replacement - Front) in Interior Trim.

4. Route the hood cable through the body structure.
5. Install the hood latch. Refer to Hood Latch Replacement  (See: Hood Latch/Service and Repair) .
6. Inspect the hood latch cable for proper operation.
7. Close the hood.
