1. Install the heater core. Spray the perimeter of the heater core seal and the heater core pipes at the front of dash with a soap and water mixture to

ease installation.

2. Install the heater core pipe seal.
3. Install the heater core pipe cover.

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the heater core pipe cover screw.

Tighten the screw to 1 N.m (9 lb in).
