Use medium pressure and push outward on the right front inner door panel (where the top of the glove box meets the panel) to see if the dome
lamp comes on.

If the dome lamp comes on while pressing on the panel, proceed to step 10. If not, this bulletin does not apply.
7.
Verify that the dome lamp switch is placed into "door" position.
8.
Close all doors except the right front door.
9.
Push in the right front doorjamb switch. If the dome lamp goes off, proceed to step 10. If the dome lamp does not go off, this bulletin does not
apply.
10.
Remove the right IP outer trim cover.
Important:
Foam should not contact the doorjamb switch.
11.
Place the foam support pad on the plastic crosspiece as shown in the illustration.
12.
Reinstall the right IP outer trim cover.
13.
Verify that the dome lamp turns off when right front door is closed and turns on when the right front door is opened.
