Remove the bolt and manual shaft detent assembly from the control valve body assembly.
Important:
It may be necessary to move the detent lever in order to gain access and remove the bolt securing the output speed sensor to the transaxle case
assembly.

Remove the 2 bolts and the input and output speed sensor assembly from the transaxle case assembly. Discard the old speed sensor assembly.
Important:
The part number for the NEW input and output speed sensor assembly is molded on both the input and output speed sensors.
10.
Install the NEW input and output speed sensor assembly, P/N 24229640, and the 2 bolts on the transaxle case assembly.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 11 N.m (8 ft-lbs).
11.
Connect the input and output speed sensor connector to the control solenoid valve assembly.
