15. Install the surge tank portion of the radiator surge tank outlet hose (1) to the surge tank (2) with a hose clamp, P/N 11571080. Tighten clamp: 5
Nm (45 lb-in).

16. Ensure the new hose assembly (heater core outlet hose, hose tee, radiator surge tank outlet hose) does NOT contact the fuel line, master cylinder or
brake booster vacuum hose. Refer to illustration.
17. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in SI.
18. Start the engine and inspect the heater core outlet hose and radiator surge tank outlet hoses for leaks.
