VUE FWD L4-2.4L (2008)
Important: Replace the muffler hangers any time the exhaust system is removed from the vehicle. Do not use any mineral oil based
lubricants or sharp tools when installing new exhaust system hangers.
1. With the aid of an assistant , position the muffler assembly.
2. Install the muffler insulators (1) to the hangers.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice) .
3. Install the catalytic converter to muffler nuts.
Tighten the nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
