1. Install the knock sensor.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the knock sensor bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

Important:  Rotate the knock sensor electrical connector 90 degrees from vertical before securing the fastener.

3. Install the knock sensor electrical connector (4) to the oil level indicator tube bracket.
4. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (3) to the knock sensor electrical connector (4).
