Hydraulic Hose: Service and Repair
Hydraulic Clutch Hose/Pipe Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the battery box. Refer to Battery Box Replacement (See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Battery Tray/Service and Repair) .
2. On antilock brake system (ABS) models, remove the brake traction control module (EBTCM) bracket fasteners.

Damage Warnings) .
3. Place a shop towel under the clutch slave cylinder hydraulic clutch hose connection in order to catch any fluid loss.
4. Remove the hydraulic clutch hose retaining clip.
5. Disconnect the hydraulic clutch hose (1) from the transaxle.
6. Drain the clutch fluid into a suitable container.
7. Remove the left transaxle mount bolt retaining the hydraulic clutch pipe.
8. Remove the nut retaining the hydraulic clutch pipe to the inner fender.
9. Place a shop towel under the clutch master cylinder hydraulic clutch pipe connection in order to catch any fluid loss.
10. Remove the hydraulic clutch pipe retaining clip from the clutch master cylinder.
11. Disconnect the hydraulic clutch pipe from the clutch master cylinder.
12. Remove the hydraulic clutch hose/pipe from the vehicle.
