5. Install the shift cable retainers (2) to the shift control assembly.
6. Do NOT depress the shift cable adjustment locks (1) at this time.
7. Install the grommet (1) flush with the cowl.
8. Position the drivers side front carpet into the proper location.
9. Adjust the shift cables. Refer to Shift Cable Adjustment (See: Adjustments) .
10. Install the front floor console extension panel. Refer to Front Floor Console Extension Panel Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Interior
Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair) .
