7. Route the cable up to the driver's side upper radiator bracket and fasten it in place with a cable tie, such as GM Part # 12337820 or equivalent as
shown (1).
8. Reinstall the hood primary and secondary latch assembly. Refer to Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Replacement in SI.
9. Verify the operation of the primary hood latch release.
10. If the interior latch release handle is broken as a result of the condition, refer to Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle Replacement in SI.
