Water Pump: Service and Repair

Water Pump Replacement (LZ4-3.5L)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the radiator outlet hose. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LZ4-3.5L)  (See: Radiator Hose/Service and Repair).
2. Remove the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement  (See: Body and Frame/Fender/Front Fender/Front Fender

Liner/Service and Repair) .

3. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement  (See: Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and

Repair) .

4. Remove the water pump pulley bolts (1).
5. Remove the water pump assembly bolts (2).
6. Remove the water pump and O-ring.
