OIL SOON message. When the engine oil is changed, reset the GM Oil Life System. Refer to GM Oil Life System Resetting  (See: Oil Change Reminder
Lamp/Service and Repair) . Press and hold the reset switch until the oil life remaining displays in the DIC.

Hybrid Economy Indicator Menu

The DIC hybrid economy indicator menu is used to enable or disable the hybrid economy indicator. Press and hold the reset switch until the hybrid
economy indicator menu displays in the DIC. The DIC displays SET ECO HOLD STEM and provides a choice of ON/OFF.

Tire Programming Menu

The instrument panel cluster (IPC) receives serial data messages from the tire pressure monitoring (TPM) system for the front and rear tire pressure. The
driver information center (DIC) displays the pressure for each of the front and rear tires. Tire pressure values are not reset through the DIC.

The tire programming menu is needed to initiate programming of the tire pressure monitor sensors. The DIC only displays the tire programming menu
only if the transmission range is in PARK. Press and hold the trip reset switch until the tire programming menu displays.

Compass

The driver information center (DIC) displays the compass based on serial data message from the BCM. The compass module communicates with the
body control module (BCM) through a bi-directional data circuit. The instrument panel cluster (IPC) receives compass information from the BCM via
the serial data circuit. The compass is displayed in the DIC with other vehicle information and is displayed at the bottom line of the DIC. The compass
display is "- -" (dashes) when a malfunction is present with the compass module or a compass serial data communication fault exists. The compass
displays 'CAL' or 'C' when the compass needs to be calibrated. Cycle the ignition before performing the compass magnetic variation zone adjustment
procedure. The trip/reset switch is used to change the compass zone or calibrate the compass.

Check that the compass module is properly installed in the vehicle since this may cause the compass to malfunction. The embossed arrow on the top of
the compass module should be parallel to the centerline of the vehicle.

Your compass may be located in the inside rear view mirror (ISRVM). If your compass is located in the ISRVM, Refer to Compass Calibration and

Key FOB Programming Menu

The key fob programming menu is used to initiate programming of the key fobs. The key fob programming menu can only be achieved with the vehicle
transmission in PARK. Press and release the trip reset switch until HOLD STEM TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY displays. Press and release the trip
reset switch until REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE is displayed. Refer to Transmitter Programming  (See: Testing and Inspection/Programming
and Relearning) for more information on key fob programming.

English/Metric Units

The English/Metric Units can be accessed through the DIC trip reset switch. Press and release the trip reset switch until UNITS displays and press the
trip reset switch to select ENGLISH (default) or METRIC.

Trip

The trip odometer can be accessed through the DIC trip reset switch. This is the current distance travelled in either miles or kilometers. Press and release
the trip reset switch until TRIP displays. To reset to zero, press and hold the reset switch while trip odometer is displayed.

Language

The driver information center (DIC) is capable of displaying in the languages listed below. However, the DIC is capable of storing at least 3 different
languages at any one time.

Press and hold the reset switch until LANG displays. Once in this display, press the reset switch to select English, Spanish or French.
