Drive Belt: Service and Repair

Drive Belt Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement  (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake

Manifold/Service and Repair) .

2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement  (See: Filters/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement  (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts,

Brackets and Accessories/Engine Mount/Service and Repair) 

4. Rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise in order to release the spring tension.
5. Remove the drive belt from around the tensioner pulley.
6. Remove the drive belt from around all the other pulleys.
7. Remove the drive belt from the vehicle.
