Canister Purge Solenoid: Service and Repair
Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake
Manifold/Service and Repair) .
2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge solenoid (4).
3. Disconnect the chassis EVAP line quick connect fitting (3) from the EVAP canister purge solenoid. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting
