2. In the area forward of the foam pad shown above, verify any glue/harness separation. 

3. Apply a bead of hot glue to the areas noted above (2) to re-secure the harness to the headliner.

4. Reinstall the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in SI.

Condition # 3

Specific to vehicles equipped with a sunroof, some customers may comment about an itch noise coming from the headliner in the area behind the driver.

Cause # 3

On vehicles equipped with a sunroof, the glue securing the sunroof opening metal brace (1) to the headliner may be insufficient in areas. Due to the lack
of glue, this interface of the brace to the headliner may initiate an itch noise.

Correction # 3

Notice
Take care to not bend or form a crease in the headliner while performing the following steps.

1. It is only necessary to lower the headliner. Only perform the steps in the headliner replacement procedure that will lower the headliner enough to

gain access to the sunroof opening brace. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in SI.

2. Inspect the underside perimeter of the sunroof opening for any evidence that the brace is not sufficiently glued to the headliner. In these areas this

condition is noted (2). Add hot glue between the metal brace and headliner.

3. Reinstall the headliner following SI procedures.
