12. Lower the vehicle until the frame contacts the J 39580  .

13. Remove the frame reinforcements. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Reinforcement Replacement (2.4L LE5 2.4L and 2.4L

LAT-2.4L)  (See: Cross-Member/Service and Repair)Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Reinforcement Replacement (3.6L LY7 3.6L and
3.5L LZ4-3.5L)  (See: Cross-Member/Service and Repair) .

14. Remove the front frame bolts.
15. Raise the vehicle off of the frame.
16. If replacing the frame, remove the lower control arms. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement  (See: Control Arm/Service and Repair/Front

Suspension) .

Installation Procedure

1. If removed, Install the lower control arms. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement  (See: Control Arm/Service and Repair/Front Suspension) .
