6. Remove the brake pedal bracket bolt (1).
7. Remove the instrument panel tie bar. Refer to Instrument Panel Tie Bar Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard
/ Instrument Panel/Service and Repair).
8. Remove the brake pedal bracket nuts (1) and the brake pedal assembly.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the brake pedal assembly to the dash panel reinforcement plate.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
2. Install the brake pedal bracket nuts (1) and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).
