Parking Brake Indicator Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Place the park brake lever in the released position.
2. Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling   (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /

Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming/Service and Repair).

3. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement   (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and

Repair).

4. Disconnect the park brake warning lamp switch electrical connector (1).

5. Remove the park brake warning lamp switch (1) by compressing the locking tabs.
