Bend the striker of the glove box approximately 2 mm as shown.

Ticking Noise From Cowl Louver
1.
Remove the front wiper arm. For additional information refer to the Technical Information System (TIS) 2004 Scion xB Repair Manual: Wiper &
Washer, Windshield Wiper Assembly.
2.
Remove the cowl louver.
3.
Fit ten felt pieces to the claws of the cowl louver as shown.
