4.

Adjust the back door striker position forward up to 2.0 mm, as shown.

5.

Re-tighten the striker mounting screws after the adjustment.

Torque: 11.5 N.m (120 kgf.cm, 101 in.lbf)

6.

Re-install the deck trim rear cover.

NOTE:

Be sure to confirm that the back door can be closed after adjusting the back door striker. The back door will not close if the striker is moved
more than 2.0 mm.

Buzz Noise from Center Register

1.

Remove the center cluster panel. For additional information refer to the Technical Information System (TIS) 2004 Scion xB Repair Manual:
Instrument Panel/Meter, Instrument Panel Sub-Assembly.

Remove the center registers.
