Panel Sub-Assy

Adjust the air-mix damper control cable sub-assembly.

A.

Set the temperature control knob to the "MAX COOL" position.

B.

Remove the outer cable in the cable clamp.

C.

With the arm in the "MAX COOL" position, the clearance between the arm and projection on the heater unit should be 1 mm (0.039 in.) or
less.

D.

Install the inner cable end on the control lever while holding the lever arm in the "MAX COOL" position.

E.

Reinstall the outer cable in the cable clamp while slightly pressing it in the direction of the arrow.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to bend the cable wire.

If the cable wire bends, the heater or the control and accessory assembly operation may be affected.

Check the adjustment of the air-mix damper control cable.

A.

Move the temperature control knob between the "MAX COOL" and "MAX HOT" position several times.

B.

Set the temperature control knob to the "MAX COOL" position.

C.

Check that the clearance between the arm and projection on the heater unit is 1 mm (0.039 in.) or less.

D.

If the clearance between the arm and projection on the heater unit is 1 mm (0.039 in.) or more, re-adjust the air-mix damper control cable.
